Letter to a Technology Evangelist

Πρώτη φορά το άκουσα όταν δούλευα στη Microsoft μερικά χρόνια πριν και έχω ακόμη μερικούς φίλους εκεί που η κάρτα τους γράφει Technology Evangelist :-) .

Νομίζω ότι το άρθρο αυτό συμπυκνώνει πολλά από τα skills και τις γνώσεις που πρέπει να έχεις σε μια δουλειά που μόνο εύκολη δεν είναι.

Διαβάζω από εκεί:

  • know the technology you’re promoting, know what customers need, know your competition.
  • learn how to communicate in public, using powerful visuals, voice, body language.
  • practice your presentation skills, and be prepared to learn new things.
  • learn your audience, and give them respect, humility, passion and communication.
  • be the mouth, but also the ears, of your company; and use online tools in a smart way to track customers’ opinions, and to build a powerful network of people.
  • give the audience a memorable experience, and show them respect. FEEL how they feel. Treat them with high respect. They will love you for this
